About Me
Hello, I’m Stephen Allen. I’ve always held a passion to design and create from a young age. Since I first learned about the graphic industry, I’ve done everything I could to learn and improve so that one day I could help use those tools to build strong foundations and recognizable brands. It all started back in high school for me where I designed shirts, posters, pamphlets, and much more, just for our school.
My aspirations reach much farther then that now. I hope to be designing on both a local and global level for professionals and businesses who connect with their audience on a deeper level. I’ve spent over 10 years learning the tools and techniques to help me achieve this goal. I still, and plan to, continue learning and improving my technique to give myself and my clients the best of my abilities.
Digital Accessibility is another passion of mine. Accessibility is an often vastly underappreciated aspect of our everyday lives. Using the internet, reading an ebook, watching a video, or even posting on social media. These are all things most of us do on a daily basis. Accessibility is all about creating the means to have those experiences be as equitable as possible for everyone.
In my experiences I have worked diligently to create various accessible documents such as ePub, Word, PDF, and HTML. Using various tools such as screen readers, text-to-speech, and transcripts, we create an accessible environment for those with physical or mental disabilities. I still continue to learn each and everyday about the wide world of accessibility.
My Goal
The landscape of today’s marketing and branding is a large industry that is in dire need of reimagining. With my wide expertise and distinct initiative to change that, I’m able to create and design a brand that leads to bold innovation within the industry. That's why it is my personal and professional goal to bring that to as many people as I can. Whether your a small business looking to grow, a global business looking for innovation, or even an individual looking to make a mark I can help in making that happen.
Accessibility is a large industry with lots of talented and intelligent people working together to create a world where everyone can be included no matter the technological, financial, or physical limitations. This is a bustling place where so much can be done to make the world a better place in new and exciting ways. There is still so much room for growth both as a community and as individuals and I couldn't be more excited to be a part of it.
